I'm a photographer, (former) theatre artist and producer, art curator, and non-profit worker, with a master’s degree in public policy based in Chicago, IL. I’m passionate about creating a world where everyone has access to art, health, housing, and community. Here’s what I’m up to right now:

Day job: Development and Communications Manager at Garfield Park Community Council. My work enables this community-building organization to promote food access and affordable housing, and equitable community development in Garfield Park, a low-income, majority Black community in Chicago.

Night job: Curator and Board Member at NEW Gallery. NEW Gallery is a non-profit art organization that manages two galleries here in Chicago, Chicago Fine Art Salon and Art City. I curate all of our group shows and help promote an equitable community for artists and art enthusiasts.

Freelance: Headshots, graduation photos, production photography are all recent photography gigs that I’ve done recently and I want to do more! I’m also consulting for philanthropic organizations that are promoting creative placemaking projects in Chicago.

For fun: I’ve been taking nature photos and watching birds. I am documenting the construction and opening of the Obama Presidential Center. I’ve been using my film camera for travel photography and to document my experience with executive disfunction.

I charge $50/half hour for most of my photography services, but my mission is to provide equitable access to photographic services, so please inquire about prices and discounts when you reach out.

Things I used to do and could be revived if life turns upside down:

A photography series called “Queer Joy: Queer People, Queer Places”. I find volunteers who want to talk about how their joy intersects with their queerness. These photos and stories can be found on my Patreon.

I’ve also been a professional director, playwright, deviser, and producer since 2015. Read my plays on the New Play Exchange!
